Brian Roque is an actor, writer and comedian from Warwick, Rhode Island. He recently graduated from Emerson College with a BFA in Comedic Arts and a Minor in Business Studies. He began performing at the age of five in a production of Holidaze where he accidentally went onstage in his underwear. He has worked with Rhode Island Youth Theatre for over a decade, directing and stage managing several of their shows. This led him to write music and lyrics for the Moss Hart Award winning original musical, The Outcast of Sherwood Forest. At Emerson, Brian found his comedic voice through performing musical improv, serving as President of the sketch comedy troupe Police Geese, and becoming a finalist for the Jess Clavelli Award ‘19. His film credits include: Once Upon a Time in 2006 (Chris), Prime (Prime), and Felt on Felt (Lee Felton), for which he received the Evvy Award for Outstanding Supporting Performer for the Screen. This past semester, Brian worked as the Marketing Intern for Dreamscape Immersive, a virtual reality company backed by Steven Spielberg.
