Description
The Self-Tape Academy All-Access pass unlocks every lesson and quiz in all three courses as soon as your payment is confirmed. We built it on more than 10,000 self tapes recorded at our Los Angeles studios since 2014.
What the Self-Tape Academy Includes
- What Is a Self-Tape? (5 lessons + quiz): what casting expects, slates, framing basics and the anatomy of a strong tape.
- How to Set Up a Self-Tape (5 lessons + quiz): camera, framing, light, background and clean audio at home.
- How to Self-Tape (6 lessons + final quiz): breaking down sides, working with a reader, takes, editing, file naming and sending.
Your Learning Dashboard
Your dashboard shows My Self-Tape Path with progress across all three courses, the Self-Tape Coach for quick answers, a setup checklist you can save and print, and a certificate for every course you complete. Lessons are short and work on a phone, tablet or computer, so you can learn between auditions.
Who the Self-Tape Academy Is For
The courses suit new actors recording their first tape, working actors who want a faster and cleaner setup, and parents helping young performers tape at home. You need no studio gear: a recent phone, a window or one soft light, and a quiet room get you started.
One Payment, All Access
One payment of $199 gives you all three courses. There is no subscription. All sales are final: course access is digital and opens right away, so purchases are non-refundable. After checkout, we enroll you automatically, so you can start right away from your dashboard. Questions before you buy? See the course overview or contact us. Union actors can also find self-tape guidance from SAG-AFTRA.
