Got a membership here and it’s definitely worth the money. Super easy to schedule myself last minute. They handle everything. Very professional service and experienced staff. Not to mention, the tapes themselves are incredible.

My go to self tape studio. They always have availability and have more than one location for when I’m across town at auditions. Easy to book last minute and they promise tapes by end of day, but I always get mine super fast. I’ve gotten their coaching for harder auditions and their feedback is always great. Very professional studio!

Self tapes with great service and rally fast turn around times. The whole staff is warm and friendly, they offer coffee or tea, have a nice comfy lounge to relax in, and it’s always filed with friendly people. I might try out the unlimited self tape membership they have.

Very nice place! Professional people that can give you a good read and coaching if you want it. I have run into various working actors here and the video quality never fails. I don’t see myself going anywhere else to record my self tapes auditions.

The best self tape around in my opinion. Crystal clear audio and video and the readers are great. Different than your typical self tape around town. This place has more of a professional casting office or production house vibe. Normal street and meter parking.

Self tapes are great and the ActOrganizer discounts and networking ability are cool and very useful. The staff, facilities, and equipment are all top grade and the people know their stuff and are sharp. The Creation Station Studios is my self tape home for sure.

Ive been coming here for a few years and haven’t encountered any issues. Easy to book online and you just show up and knock out your audition and go about your day. Within the same day you will get your footage and your agent and manager also receive a copy, if you let the creation station people know. Cant complain at all! Oh and the video quality is awesome and the pricing is affordable. Very nice setup.

I have come here a few times over the years to self tape my auditions and receive awesome service, delivery, staff, and overall experience. i came in to record my self tape audition and the entire process was hassle free and a breeze. The pricing is affordable and they allow you to pay at checkout versus putting your card in ahead of time like other places. They cancellation policy is flexible and they really know their stuff. I’ll be coming back!

The best self tape video audition place I’ve ever been to. The facility is clean, modern, and their setup is really nice. The quality of the video was great, the audio was awesome, files were delivered super fast, and the service was superb. These people aren’t robots, but still manage to maintain a consistent output of quality services/products and are always happy to help. The coaching is priceless and worth every penny. Professional level work requires professional commitment and dedication! — Hands down the best self tape in Los Angeles/Hollywood!

Self Tape auditions made easy. The Creation Station Studios Self Tape is the nicest facility I have been to. They have a polite and friendly staff, lobby/creative area. They offer free coffee, tea, and sometimes snacks. They do not rush you, they make sure you look awesome, and they truly know their stuff. The coaching with Kevin L. Walker was amazing and once i googled him, i realized why. This place is run by working actors, which makes ally he world of a difference. Framing, Lighting, Sound, and the editing job was amazing. I will definitely be back!!

When I go to Los Angeles and have to do an audition, creation station is the place to go. It’s reasonably priced, and it has really great readers!! And the lighting is so good… It makes me look good and that’s fantastic in my book lol.

Been coming here for 4-5 years and everyone is great. Naive actors with no business experience sometimes hate on these peeps but they keep growing and are still around and making great self tapes. The best in the game. You’ll notice the actors that complain don’t work much or at all. That says a lot.

I will not be returning to this location ever again. This is a one and done. A couple of red flags to mention. You can’t communicate with this business unless it’s over text message and email (No Calling, who does business like this ?), they changed my location less than an hour before my appointment time via text while I was driving (not even a courtesy call) (I booked their West Los Angeles location but was moved to Burbank), the reader was 7 mins late to the appointment however, he was actually the best part of this whole experience after he warned me that his own employer is “Stingy” (his words, huge red flag) and lastly they doubled the price of my session without warning. Keep in mind their website is extremely difficult to maneuver. You would think that on a holiday their messaging would be crystal clear about a price increase. There was no warning upon booking and in fact, I received multiple emails confirming the normal price quotes. Then when I was invoiced and I explained my confusion over the major price hike, I was met with resistance and hostility. (Similar to the negative responses you see from them on this review site) You would think that they would try to help a first time client and sympathize with them, that maybe it was human error… but no. I am hesitant to write this review because they have displayed aggressive and unprofessional behavior towards anyone that writes a bad review, going as far as to threaten their careers. However, I’m still so agitated by what happened that I want to protect fellow actors from spending their money on this type of business. To anyone that reads this, it’s better to record yourself on tape than to go to these guys.

I’ve been to their other locations, which is awesome if I’m on a different side of town. This one is closest and I like it too. Front desk is a little nicer here, but security is sometimes standing with the parking people. Just text and wait in the lobby. Reliable place for sure.

They don’t care about their clients. They only care about taking your money. That’s their priority. I booked a session last night for a time sensitive audition at this location and noted I needed a teleprompter. It wasn’t until I texted them this morning to confirm about the teleprompter when they responded they don’t have one but they will still charge me for the session and said they’re not a flea market. Lol. No, just poor quality service. I had to ask for myself about the other location as they could care less to direct me to the other location for what I need as a client. They said they will still charge me per their policy with zero “customer service”.
I placed a reservation at this location and requested a teleprompter for a quick turn around appointment the next day. The audition with Disney was time sensitive. Then I texted them to make sure they can have a teleprompter at the session and they responded that they will cancel the appointment and charge me for it and then told me to schedule at their other location. They said it wasn’t anything personal, but it wasn’t anything professional either. I told them they should underwrite to credit me at their other location since they couldn’t provide what I needed as their client. But they have no client satisfaction guarantee. Just a no refund policy. They also said I’m not a life coach and that they’re not a flea market and this guy through text claimed to be the COO and banded me from both locations and said good luck in this industry as if they make the call for everyone in this business. They don’t care about client success. Just your money. Lol. Their power games are 100% narcissistic. So, I said they can keep the money since they need it so badly and scheduled at SelfTape.com, who were professional and supportive by providing an enjoyable experience. Integrity and quality in its entirety. Down to earth and no minimizations, shifting blames and shaming.
Since there are other reviews against Creation Station, you can read the bad reviews on similar unprofessional one star encounters and how disgustingly they reply to honest reviews from honest disappointments. Switching narratives which is again, narcissistic. I think many of their 4-5 star reviews are fake accounts.
But according to other reviews, apparently they go above and beyond to slander their competitors and obviously prospects who don’t submit to their negligence. Also, I’ve actually had one session with them before, so I was a returning “client”. Their readers are like card board boxes. Which shows how they just don’t care at all and it rolls downhill from their top, if you get what I mean. Next.

I had the most bizarre and unprofessional experience this morning with the manager, Chris. So much so that I decided to cancel my appointment.
I was unable to find where to submit my sides on their website, via my iPhone. I sent the studio a text to ask for their assitance. Received something along the lines of “It’s in the confirmation email and on the top of the website.”
I tried two different browsers on my iPhone and could not find this tab at the top of their website. I was able to go back to the confirmation email and copy and paste the link to submit my sides.
I let the manager know that I was able to figure it out but that there was not a spot at the top of their website on iPhone anyway, that I had to manually copy and paste the link to get where I needed to be. I thought he might want to be aware for future clients.
Conversation should have and would have ended there with a normal/professional person. But rather, this person continued to send passive aggressive screen shots from his non-iPhone (green text messages) to prove to me that there was in fact a spot at the top of the website on a mobile phone.
This is the morning of my audition, and I really don’t need to have a petty back and forth with the manager. I want to focus on my audition. The petty texts ensued and it was the strangest interaction I have ever had with someone providing a service. As any actor can attest to, you kind of want a good vibe going when you go in for a read. This was not that!

Got a membership here and I’m loving the perks. I was able to reschedule my same day appointment, which I couldn’t believe after making the appointment THAT DAY in the first place. Feedback is only $35 which is the cheapest I’ve found for valuable coaching in a self tape session by real PROS!

I had the 30 min slot booked and it was more than plenty of time because my reader (MATT McGEE) was an absolute pro. He was on time, professional and an expert. The studio was clean and their equipment was top of the line.

Self taped here and at their West Hollywood location and they’re both great. I’ve definitely seen some of the same actors at this location as the other. Coaching is worth is and also sharpens your overall acting skills. Going to look into the unlimited membership to be able to use any location for one fee.

Booked and got my self tape the same day. Their membership for $24 gives you rush edits, coaching, and extra minutes to use. Can get better than this. The feedback on the coaching sessions are worth it. Gems goes a long way in this competitive business.

1) THEY KNOW HOW TO LIGHT DARK SKINNED PEOPLE
2) The coaching is good. Not gonna lie was surprised, but the add on is worth it. It just feels good to have advice through out and actually makes it faster.
3) Quick turn around
4) If you can swing it, give your roommate/sig other a freaking break. Also, when casting opens up again, you will be prepared to audition in front of someone you do not know. We will no always do tapes at home pants less or with socks on (unless that’s your thing)

I didn’t have a good experience unfortunately. Please pay attention at the reviews about Chris at Yelp, if I would have read those I would have never chose this studio. I am literally shocked. I talked with my group of friends and what happened to me also happened to one of them incredibly, of course not the exact situation but a problem with the same person. Also, you have to be very careful with the webpage, because it’s kind of tricky. It allows you to buy a session with “normal hours” price but then they send you an email saying they changed the appointment. That happened to me, and I did not understand so I emailed and texted them asking and they never responded but the appointment was still at the same time, so I attended and at the end of the session they wanted to charge me much more, so I had a surprise. Thing is the reader (who was the kindest) told me, exact words: “you’re right, this happened to another client before; it’s tricky. I apologize, I’m gonna charge you what you clicked on the webpage” so he charged me the “normal hour” price. Then after I left, I received an email from “Chris, Executive Operations” saying that he wasn’t going to send me the tape if I did not pay “after hours” price, (of course threatening and playing with the actors’ short deadlines). I was like WHAT? This is ridiculous. Also he went super cocky and said he’s been in this business for 20 years, I’ve been working professionally for 15 years, and? What does that mean? Someone should explain why the studio doesn’t respond emails and texts before attending the sessions to be clear when the client has an answer, because when the studio wants to charge you more they respond, curiously, super fast. And why in person the reader charged me a price and then by email when I left the studio wanted to charge more. I never asked for a discount, that was the price I clicked on the website, and the price the reader charged me. But in the end, since “Chris” never even apologized, I told him I wanted the refund, they refunded and deleted my tape, so I had to re tape… I ended up going to another studio where the webpage is very clear, you pay in advance, and no surprises after you finish taping (plus they take more seriously the covid safety). But it was a super uncomfortable situation and waste of time, I would not come back to this place, because the truth is that I felt so bad. Again, pay attention to Yelp reviews.

Very easy self tape process for affordable prices. You get way more than you pay for here- the equipment is all high end, I always feel like I’m coming to set. Very professional locations and readers. Definitely the only place I’d trust with my audition opportunities.

I tape here even when I don’t have auditions! The quality is so good I’ve taped scenes for my actors Access and LA Casting profiles. Always have a fun time at the creation Station, feels like a real set!!

the best self tape place in Hollywood. Their picture quality, sound, and service is always good and my reps love the tapes i send over. The whole process is very smooth and easy to navigate through. I have been to other places around town, and they don’t compare. The creation station also has a nice a modern facility, with super friendly people. All good vibes with a comfortable and creative environment.

A amazing place for professionals self tapes, audition assistance, and actors services. Got my reel edited quickly for $50 and also knocked out a self tape. The setup is better than others I have seen. A real company with a real lobby and overall environment. All others places I have been to are apartment/home based or simply not as clean and professional as the Creation Station.

Great customer service and self tapes. It’s hard to find a nice polished, clean, and professional place around town. Most are club house-like and don’t have the real feel of a company. The c station is very well put together and even offers rewards, discounts, unlimited self tape memberships, and other cool stuff. My agents like my self tapes from here and have shown a big change in their ability to get me more auditions with these tapes.

My agent referred me here with the specific remark of, “These guys and gals are pros,” and my agent was definitely right. This company operates lean and clean, with no games or nonsense. You come in, stay ready, you tape, you leave, you get your footage same day. DONE! Their facilities are modern and clean, and the 24/7 security and secured building makes comfortably taping a breeze. — I’ve been to other self tape places in living room and/or apartments.. The creation station makes those places look inferior in many ways.

1) THEY KNOW HOW TO LIGHT DARK SKINNED PEOPLE
2) The coaching is good. Not gonna lie was surprised, but the add on is worth it. It just feels good to have advice through out and actually makes it faster.

4) If you can swing it, give your roommate/sig other a freaking break. Also, when casting opens up again, you will be prepared to audition in front of someone you do not know. We will no always do tapes at home pants less or with socks on (unless that’s your thing)

I didn’t have a good experience unfortunately. Please pay attention at the reviews about Chris at Yelp, if I would have read those I would have never chose this studio. I am literally shocked. I talked with my group of friends and what happened to me also happened to one of them incredibly, of course not the exact situation but a problem with the same person. Also, you have to be very careful with the webpage, because it’s kind of tricky. It allows you to buy a session with “normal hours” price but then they send you an email saying they changed the appointment. That happened to me, and I did not understand so I emailed and texted them asking and they never responded but the appointment was still at the same time, so I attended and at the end of the session they wanted to charge me much more, so I had a surprise. Thing is the reader (who was the kindest) told me, exact words: “you’re right, this happened to another client before; it’s tricky. I apologize, I’m gonna charge you what you clicked on the webpage” so he charged me the “normal hour” price. Then after I left, I received an email from “Chris, Executive Operations” saying that he wasn’t going to send me the tape if I did not pay “after hours” price, (of course threatening and playing with the actors’ short deadlines). I was like WHAT? This is ridiculous. Also he went super cocky and said he’s been in this business for 20 years, I’ve been working professionally for 15 years, and? What does that mean?
